Virgie Arthur, the mother of deceased celebrity Anna Nicole Smith, sued Smith’s attorney-boyfriend, Howard K. Stern, and several other defendants over allegedly defamatory statements made about Smith in various forums. Among the defendants named in the suit are the TMZ website (www.tmz.com) and bloggers Art Harris of “The Bald Truth” blog (www.artharris.com) and Nelda Turner, Lyndal Harrington, and Teresa Stephens of the “Rose Speaks” blog (www.rosespeaks.com).
